1. This week I managed to somehow get my arm caught between two escalators whilst going up one and was split seconds away from being in serious trouble and getting my arm trapped and yanked off. I managed to twist my arm out of the situation in time to come away with nothing other than arm-crushing pain, three bruises and a somewhat pulled muscle.
The shopkeep on the same escalator just *looked* at me. I bet she thought I'd cause a fuss and sue.

2. I'm looking forward to going back into Primark and buying more nice underwear. I may well be addicted but dammit I like looking sexy! And it's *so* cheap!

3. I have no idea what I want for my birthday or Christmas. *Again*.

4. This week I have bought two items that are slightly off-white with black polkadots: a notebook and a pair of knickers. So darn retro and cool!

5. I'm thinking of doing a PGCE in London next year.

6. Freud was *nuts*. Apparently babies are substitute penises for girls. I love my Intellectual History lecturer though, watching him euphemise (is that a word? It is now) his way aroung Freud and sex is hilarious.

7. I can't find my black eyeliner. Grr.

8. I was very good the other day as when I reliased I'd walked out of Gregg's without anyone charging me for my Sprite I went back and told them and paid for it. Aren't I an angel? :)

10. I have no idea what to draw on my plain t-shirt with my lovely fabric pens. Help!

1. I have just spent four days sewing buttons onto my tough old pair of canvas plimsolls. They now look damn cool.
Needles broken: 1. Time spent: 4 days. Fingers stabbed: Two. Buttons sewn: 25.

2. I'm 49% pure according to Facebook's purity test. Considering the scores of some people I know this surprises me slightly. (Just slightly)

3. Rob just got funding for his course at UCL this year and will almost certainly be moving to London. My sincerest contrafibularities! Seems I'll be visiting London a lot this year ;)

4. I own breath mints in a coffin-shaped tin called "Death Mints"

5. Yesterday I had to have an injecton in my *bum*. It didn't hurt a bit. Much less than my blood tests.
Bum injections: 1. Arm injections: 1 a fortnight. I look like a junkie.

6. I think too much and yet not enough.

7. I wish I could own Bang! but fear not being able to find 3 other people who want to play it.

8. I'm moving up to Cardiff on Saturday, hurrah!

9. I'm seriously wondering what the hell I'm gonna do after university.

On Tuesday after doing my homework on campus to get it out of the way I went to meet Mark and Ceri in Shibuya.


It sounds like Mark and Ceri have it well easy at Chuo. Hopefully their course is shit or something to make up for it. I get one day off a week. They get 3, and one day where it's just the afternoon and they play games! Games!! I mean, my God! I have to do homework every day, be in at 9 am 4 days a week, one of which is Saturday. They walk 15 mins to uni, I walk 15 mins to the station and then have another 30 mins commute at least! Gits.

Ah well.

This week has been confusing. I had to go to try out classes to see which I'll sign up for from next week. I managed to confuse myself and miss the classes I wanted to go to on Monday by thinking I didn't start til Tuesday, which only appiled to core classes. But whatever. 



Japanese food = when it's good it's very, very good and when it's bad it's horrid. I wish it was like English food, kinda nice or meh. Or that I could live on sushi, decent restaurant ramen, yakisoba (ooh I haven't found yakisoba yet, but I think that's something you have to make yourself or buy out) and onigiri. Mmm, onigiri....

OHH MY GOD! Ken Watanabe does the Japanese adverts for Yakult!!! He's so sparkly! Steph'll be jealous. Hell, *I'm* jealous! Why don't they put Ken in the British ones!? I mean it took me 'til a couple of months ago to realsie that Yakult was Japanese. Ken! He just came back. Teehee. I should stop being such a girl now, but it was for a start just really unexpected to see someone I recognise on Japanese TV. He is damn ace though. Mm. Anyway, this was watching TV in the lounge doing my homework.
